PURPOSE:To reduce fluctuation of a pulse width in a single-pulse state by connecting two terminals of a transistor (TR) to two input terminals of a comparator so that one is connected through a capacitor and the other is connected directly. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted to a TR31 is amplified by the TR on a uninverted and an inverted basis, and those two signals are inputted to the two input terminals of the comparator 32; one signal is inputted through the capacitor to obtain a differential waveform and shorten a rising and a falling time, and the other signal is inputted to the comparator directly as its threshold voltage. A waveform at the opposite-phase input terminal 36 of the comparator is the differential waveform of the waveform at an input terminal 33 and shorter in rising time and falling time than a waveform at an input terminal 33 and the two input signals of the comparator 32 change in polarity symmetrically, so variation in pulse width is reduced. Further, the input signal is amplified by the TR and variation of the differential waveform is made larger than that of the threshold voltage to shorten the time of rising and falling to the threshold voltage, thereby further reducing the pulse variation.
