PURPOSE:To maintain the cell characteristic well and to facilitate maintenance by constructing the sensor stack with cell block assembly independently constructed with predetermined number of unit cell stacks while providing a manifold for every cell block. CONSTITUTION:The unit 14 is assembled integrally as an independent structure by arranging upper and lower endboards 22, 23 and a current collection board 15 at the opposite ends above and below the unit cell stack 15. Manifolds 10-13 are arranged on the circumferential face of respective unit 14 to which the reaction gas is fed through parallel connection of the manifold corresponding with respective unit to reaction gas supply line 19 through branch line 20. A gas flow regulation valve 21 is inserted into respective branch line 20, particularly to the inlet side of manifold, and the reaction gas supply to the manifold dedicated to respective unit is controlled to be uniform through a regulation valve 21. Consequently, the cell characteristic is improved while maintenance and repairment can be facilitated. |
