PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts and insertion loss by disposing a double refractive crystal between two rod lenses and connecting plural optical fibers to the end faces of the rod lenses facing the surfaces to be adhered to the double refractive crystal. CONSTITUTION:The rod lenses 4, 6 are respectively adhered to both ends of the double refractive crystal 5 and the plural optical fibers 1, 2, 8, 9 are connected to the end faces of the rod lenses 4, 6 facing the surfaces to be adhered to the double refractive crystal 5, by which an optical branching and inserting device is constituted. |
