PURPOSE:To reduce the volume thus to improve the liquid holding performance while to improve the effect as a separator and to improve the stocking characteristic by employing a resin sheet as the basic material of separator between positive and negative poles while planting resin fibers on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene sheet 3a is employed as the basic material of separator 3 while fibers 3b of such as polypropylene are planted on single or both faces of said sheet 3a. The stocking performance of cell is never damaged by the sheet 3a while the planted section will satisfy the function by providing the minimum fibers necessary for holding of liquid. When planting fibers 3b onto both faces of sheet 3a, the stocking performance is maintained by the sheet material while maintaining the condition of unwoven cloth as a whole and when selecting the length of fiber 3b, liquid holding performance is achieved on the faces of both positive and negative active substance thus to improve the effect as a separator and to improve the stocking performance. |
