<p>PURPOSE:To enable a break trouble in a tool to be detected, by using a difference between an idle time at the present machining time and an idle time at machining time in a process immediately before the present machining time as the idle time difference. CONSTITUTION:The method assumes A for an idle time, beta for a preset value further the preset value beta for a sum of a fixed value beta1 and a variable value alphacorresponding to a change of air pressure in an operational power supply. The variable value alpha is used as a function of the idle time at machining time in the present process and in a process immediately before the present process, and a break in a drill is detected by comparing in relation an idle time difference An-An-1 with the preset value beta=beta1+{(An-1/An-2)-1}. And when the pressure of air tends to decrease, the tool, increasing the value beta1+alpha and a permissible value of the idle time difference because the value alpha={(An-1/An-2)-1} increases, becomes able to correspond to an increase of the idle time due to a decrease of a feed speed. Similarly when the pressure of air tends to increase, the tool becomes able to correspond to a decrease of the idle time.</p> |
