PURPOSE:To precent a clearance in a connecting part from occurring, by superposing two films, to be spliced, partially on each other and cutting them, while keeping this state intact, sticking an adhesive tape as moving these two films simultaneously at the same speed. CONSTITUTION:When a preceding film f1 is used up and the rear end reaches a position of a detector 17, feed of the film comes to a stop after the elapse of the specified time. And, the rear end of the preceding film f1 and a tip end of succeeding film f2 are superposed on each other and cut by cutters 7 and 7a. Then, pressing rollers 5 and 6 go down simultaneously and keep down these films f1 and f2 in combination with corresponding delivery rollers 3 and 4. Next, rollers 3, 4 and 15 rotate in an arrow direction simultaneously at the same speed, whereby end parts of these films f1 and f2 are fed simultaneously in a state of being butted with each other. And, when this part reaches beneath the pressing roller 6, an adhesive ape is pressed to these films, thus films f1 and f2 are spliced together. Therefore, no clearance in a connecting part occurs.
