<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a recordless part under high speed state as it is during high speed recording by changing the muting time of an automatic record muting part in accordance with an output signal from a tape speed switching part. CONSTITUTION:When a record muting switch S1 is turned on during the recording of a tape 2 at a normal reproducing speed, an 'H' signal is outputted from an output terminal (c) of the automatic record muting part 5 during a period T and inputted to a recording muting input terminal of a travel control part 3. After the period T, the 'H' signal is outputted from an output terminal (d) of the automatic record muting part 5 and inputted to a pause input terminal of the travel control part 3 through a gate circuit G and the tape 2 is turned to a recording pause mode after forming the recordless part during the period T. During recording at a tape speed of N times the normal reproducing speed, an 'H' signal is inputted from a speed switching part 4 to the muting part 5, and if the switch S1 is turned on, the tape speed is turned to the N times the normal reproducing tape speed and the tape 2 is turned to the recording pause mode after forming the muting part for a T/N period.</p> |
