PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the working mistake due to man's work by generating a signal from a tool and displaying the result, when an operator carries-out a work by using an assembly tool given by a robot according to the work standard given by the robot. CONSTITUTION:A robot 1 for assembly and inspection assistance indicates the working procedure, working tool, caution for work, and instruction for parts and quantity, etc. onto a CRT 2 by using a key or a cassette tape 3. An operator 1 takes-out a working tool 6 having the structure for the connection in signal aspect with the robot 1 from a tool stocker 5 on the basis of the instruction for work which is displayed on the CRT 2, and forwards works in succession. The number of pieces for fastening, fastening torque, etc. are input from the working tool 6 side into a controller in each work, and the pass/defect of the content of work is displayed on the CRT 2. When one work process is completed as indicated by a standard value, the next process is displayed on the CRT 2.
