PURPOSE:To execute smoothly the business by transmitting an absence reason informing code signal, and displaying the reason of absence in a transfer destination telephone set, when executing a transfer by a telephone transfer device. CONSTITUTION:When there is a call in an incoming telephone set 4a which is set to a telephone transfer device being in an operation available state, a bell relay 14 detects it, and a telephone line 10a of an outgoing telephone set 5a is held so as to be dialable. Also, a telephone number of a transfer destination telephone set 6 stored in a memory 26, and a transfer origin code signal from a transfer origin code transmitter 12a are sent out successively through a dial pulse sending-out device 20 and a touch tone transmitter 27, and a corresponding display lamp A of an indicator 29 of a transfer origin code decoder 13 is lighted. In this case, among operating pieces (a)-(n) of a code adding device 28, when for instance, (c) is operated, (c) of an absence reason informing code signal is added, and a display lamp (c) of the indicator 29 is lighted, therefore, it can be confirmed that the absence reason is because of being at table.
