<p>Cathode ray tube. This invention relates to improved CRT internal magnetic shielding means in the form of at least two onepiece substantially longitudinal open trough-like metallic shielding members (43, 65, 67, 69, 71) of arcuate crosssectional construction having closed rounded ends (45, 47). Each member incorporates strengthening features (49, 51, 62, 64) and is free of constructional jointures. The members are attached to the rear of the supporting frame (31) of the screen-related apertured member (21), being oriented at the top and bottom thereof with their longitudinal openings in facing relationship.</p> |
