PURPOSE:To obtain the titled crystallized glass generating no surface crack and having a marble pattern by compounding SiO2, Al2O3, MgO, Na2O+K2O, B2O3, TiO2, F, B2O3+TiO2+F, and Sb2O3 in a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The desired forsterite crystallized glass is obtd. by compounding substantially by wt%, 45-60 SiO2, 14-25 Al2O3, 7-16 MgO, 10-16 Na2O, 0-5 K2O, 10-20 Na2O+K2O, 0-5 B2O3, 0-3 TiO2, 0-1 F, 0.2-6 B2O3+TiO2+ F and 0-2 Sb2O3. The formation of the above-described glass may also be substituted by the following by wt%, 50-58 SiO2, 16-22 Al2O3, 8-12 MgO, 10-14 Na2O, 1-4 K2O and 0.2-1 TiO2.
