<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation performance in mounting and demounting of a paper feeding cassette by eliminating the lever operation in mounting and demounting of the paper feeding cassette and reducing the operation force in mounting and demounting the paper feeding cassette. CONSTITUTION:When a paper feeding cassette 1 is mounted into a cassette receiving part 2, the paper feeding cassette 1 is inserted into the direction of arrow (m) through a cassette inserting guide 20. Since a latch lever 23 is engaged with a striker pin 22, the cassette 1 advances into a rear part 2 without being intefered by a pressing lever 3. The engagement between the lever 23 and the pin 22 is released by the projection 30 of the cassette 1, and the pressing lever 3 pushes a sheet 8 of paper upwardly through a pressing plate 7 projecting into the cassette 1 from the bottom opened port 6 of the paper feeding cassette 1, and press-attaches the paper onto a paper feeding roller 9. It is enough only to pull-out the cassette 1 when the paper feeding cassette 1 is released, it is enough to release the lever 23 from the pin 22, the turning moment of the lever 23 is increased, and the operation performance in mounting and demounting can be improved.</p> |
