发明名称 APPARATUS FOR MEASURING SCATTERING OF LIGHT
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the scattering of light containing a light scattering component having a large scattering angle with high accuracy, by irradiating intermittent light and absorbing the scattered light thereof to convert the same to heat energy while converting the same to an electric signal through an elastic wave to measure the quantity of heat energy. CONSTITUTION:Light incident as shown by the arrow is converted to intermitted irradiation beam 2 by a chopper 10 and this beam is converged buy a lens 14 to irradiate matter 1 to be inspected. The scattered light 3 thereof is absorbed by the photosensitive surface 7 of a microphone cell 11 and the gas in the hermetically closed microphone cell 1 is intermittently heated to generate a sonic wave which is, in turn, is detected by the microphone 12 attached to the microphone cell 11 and the signal from this microphone 12 is sent to a lock-in amplifier 13 and measured beam is subjected to frequency synchronous detection on the basis of the intermittent reference signal from the chopper 10 and the result thereof is recorded on a recorder 15.
