PURPOSE:To obtain permanently good image quality from a photosensitive member by rubbing respectively the front and rear surfaces of a blade in the thickness direction by using a film in the stage when the blade detaches from a photosensitive member thereby scrapping off the deposit. CONSTITUTION:A turning plate 20 energized by a spring member 25 in the direction of an arrow 56 turns around a stop pin 34, then the film 23 approaches to the rear surface 10a of the blade 9. The edge 23a of the film 23 rubs the rear surface 10a to scrape off the deposit. Since a shaft 14 turns in an arrow 54 direction, the edge 33a of the film 33 rubs the front surface 10b of the blade and therefore the deposit sticking to the blade 9 from the front 10b to the edge 10 is scraped off. The edge 33a rubs further the edge 10 and the edge 23a of the film 23 to scrape off the deposit. After the edge 10 of the blade 9 from which the deposit is scraped contacts with a photosensitive member 5 under the prescribed pressure, the member 5 turns in an arrow direction and the prescribed process is repeated. The toner image is thus formed and a toner removing device 1 is operated. |
