PURPOSE:To prevent a jam of bills from occurring, by making delivery or curvature in a conveying route so as not to occur at the time of delivery and recovery of these bills. CONSTITUTION:When the required sheets of bills pass through a fixed conveying route 10 one by one and fed to a lower belt conveying device 12, each bill is moved till its tip end reaches to a stopper 37. When accumulation of bills is over, a bill conveying system comes to a stop, and here whether the number of accumulated sheets of bills was the desired value or not is finally judged. If there are excess and deficiency in the number of sheets of bills, a link 18 is rotated clockwise with a command out of a controller. In consequence, as in illustration, a upper belt conveying device 17 rocks as pressing the lower belt conveying device 12 whereby the whole body of a bill temporary storage part 11 is directed to a bill recovery vessel 7. On the other hand, if counting of bills is normal, the whole body of the storage part 11 is directed to a delivery port 9. Therefore, there is no delivery or curvature in a bill conveying route, occurring frequency in a jam is restricted to the upmost, thus misfeed is eliminable.
