PURPOSE:To enable a dust to be prevented from floating, by providing a dust attracting pipe, whose end suction port is placed in the vicinity of a polishing stone, to be extended along a grip tube and communicating the pipe with a dust collecting device, in the case of a polisher of hand piece type. CONSTITUTION:A grip tube 1, pivotally mounted to a universal arm lever 5, rotates a rotary shaft 2 by a driving belt 6 through a V pulley 4, performing desired grinding work by a polishing stone 3. This grinding work, in which attractive force from a dust collecting device 8 acts on a dust attracting pipe 7 extended along the grip tube 1 so as to place an end suction port of the pipe approaching the polishing stone 3 through a hose 9, attracts a dust generated when the grinding is performed. Accordingly, a polisher, preventing the dust from floating, enables a worker to ensure his health.
