PURPOSE:To obtain clean air in low cost, by simple constitution such that dust-containing air is contacted with water to allow dust in air to adhere to water or allow the same to remain in an adsorbed state. CONSTITUTION:Dust-containing air enters an air distribution pipe 3 from an air inlet pipe 2 and passes through air holes 5 from an air introducing pipe 4 to enter a dust removal chamber 6. Fresh water is introduced in a water chamber 13 from a fresh water inlet pipe 11 to fill said water chamber 13 and water droplets 16 are fallen in the dust removal chamber 6 from the water droplet holes 15 provided to a partition plate 14 and fall while adsorb dust in air to be accumulated to the lower part of an main body 1 while accumulated water is appropriately discharged from a sewage discharge pipe 19. Purified air enters an air-water separation apparatus 7 to remove moisture and taken out from an air exhaust port. Water passes through a drain pipe 10 from a tray 9 to be mixed with water in the lower part of the main body.
