PURPOSE:To enhance soil activity and the growth and disease resistance of plants, by diluting aloe juice with water and spreading the soln. on the soil. CONSTITUTION:A stock soln. of aloe juice is diluted with sufficient water (pref. about 100-1,000-fold water) and spread on the soil. Mere spreading enhances the activity of a microorganism in the soil and accelerates the growth of the microorganism, which accelerates the decomposition of an org. material in the soil, eliminates an org. residue and a Kuroboku layer, and accelerates formation of a crumbled structure of the soil. Therefore the soil has treading resistance of keeping high water permeability, high effective water retention and high nutrition retention even when trodden, so that absorbability for water or nutrition is enhanced to accelerate the growth and disease resistance of plants. Said soln. is harmless to man and beast, has no possibility of causing secondary environmental pollution even if used for a long period of time and may be used together with a fertilizer. |
