PURPOSE:To shorten the access time by connecting access units in parallel to a transmission line, and providing a gate circuit on the transmission line between said units so that a series digital signal can be transmitted to an optional access unit. CONSTITUTION:When a series digital signal 12 from a control device is all set to an L level and inputted by one frame, a shift register 3 of an access unit 1 is initialized, and also an L level output signal 32 of a gate circuit 30 is inputted to a register 4 and a gate circuit 31 of an access unit 2. Also, output signals 13, 14 of the registers 3, 4 are held in an H level by mode switching signals 33, 34 of mode controlling circuits 26, 27. Subsequently, when the signal 12 is inputted as an instructing signal by one frame, the signal 12 can be inputted simultaneously to all the units in a state that the signals 13, 14 remain an H level. Also, in one frame of the signal 12, receiving address signals 15, 16 and control signals 21, 22 are contained, and this control signal can be set to a memory 5 or 6.
