PURPOSE:To improve working precision without varying the working speed and the groove width through working by detecting the voltage before electric discharge and controlling the voltage to a constant value. CONSTITUTION:Voltage is applied onto a wire-electrode 2 and a workpiece 3 through working liquid 4 from a power source 1. After the application of voltage, the voltage before the reduction through electric discharge executed after A seconds is detected by a voltage detector 10, and then the data is read into a computer 11, and feedback control to a power source 1 is performed, and the voltage is varied by the power source 11 so that a set voltage is obtained. After the repose time of B seconds, voltage is applied, and after A seconds after the application, the voltage is detected. Through the repetition of this operation, the working speed and the groove width in spark erosion machining can be made constant. |
