PURPOSE:To produce an effect comparable to the effect of HIP treatment by heating a thermal sprayed film and the vicinity of the bonding boundary between the thermal sprayed film and a metallic material with a high frequency induced current in an atmosphere of an inert gas and by applying pressure to the heated thermal sprayed film with a pressurizing body. CONSTITUTION:A thermal sprayed film 11 is formed on the surface of a metallic material 10, and a block consisting of a thin plate 3, a coil 1, a thick plate 4 and a pressurizing plate 6 is placed on the film 11 and covered with a covering body 8 having a semicircular cross-section. An inert gas is introduced into the covering body 8 from the gas introducing parts 9, and a high frequency current is supplied to the coil 1 through a water-cooled steel pipe 2. The thermal sprayed film 11 and the vicinity of the bonding boundary between the film 11 and the metallic material 10 are heated through the thin plate 3. At the same time, pressure is applied in the direction of an arrow with a pressurizing rod 7 placed on the block.
