<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to allow a player to simply and accurately know the range up to an objective point in golf, by receiving an ultrasonic wave by the transmitter-receiver to a side to be observed before transmitting the same so as to provide definite time lag. CONSTITUTION:An observer such as a golf player is allowed to carry an ultrasonic transmitter having a transmitter-receiver 3 and an ultrasonic receiver having a transmitter-receiver 9 is arranged to a side to be observed such as a pole. The player turns a switch ON while directs the transmitter-receiver to the transmitter-receiver 9 and an ultrasonic pulse is transmitted by the exciting pulse from a pulse generator 2. The transmitter-receiver 9 receives the attenuated weak ultrasonic wave and an amplifier 10 amplifys the same. The ultrasonic wave is oscillated so as to provide definite time lag from reception by the output of the amplifier 10 and the order of an oscillation controller 12. In the observation side, the definite time lag is subtracted from the required time from transmission to reception to operate a range.</p> |
