The conveyor 22 of a transfer apparatus 5 is lowered, and an operator pushes an arbitrary number of long materials (m) leftward until said member contacts with a stop plate 23. Then, the conveyor 22 is raised to lift-up the left edge part of the long material (m). At the same time, operator lifts-up the right edge of the long material (m), and when said material is lifted-up a little higher than the stay 10 of the pallet and the upper surface of the conveyor 22, the transfer apparatus 5 is brought into stop. Then, the conveyor 22 is traveled to shift the left edge of the long material (m) forward, and the operator carries the right edge. After transferred to an unloading position U, said material is dropped onto the conveyor 2. |
