<p>A push-off aid for the bottom surface of a crosscountry and long distance ski is described. The push-off aid is applicable to the central area of the ski running surface and comprises a soft, elastical material containing inelastic particle component. A portion of these particles is so designed that they protrude from the bottom surface of the ski. This can be achieved, for example, by grinding the surface of the material which is intended as the bottom surface, such that the ground surface has a hairy appearance.</p> |
