PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance by adding prescribed percentages of Al, Sn, P, Mg, B, etc., and restricting the amount of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:A Cu alloy contg. 0.01-1.5wt% Al, 0.03-2.5wt% Sn (Al+Sn>=0.1wt%) and <=100ppm oxygen is formed into a pipe to obtain a corrosion resistant Cu alloy pipe. The Cu alloy has superior resistance to corrosion and Cu ion leaching as a material for water and hot water supply pipes.
