PURPOSE:The titled fluid exhibiting a high petroleum recovery rate, which comprises a specified surfactant and water which may contain an inorg. salt. CONSTITUTION:0.1-15wt% surfactant comprising a 10-26C internal olefin sulfonate contg. 40wt% or more hydroxyalkane sulfonate and 20wt% or less disulfonate, and an ether sulfonate of the formula (wherein R<1> is 12-28C alkyl or alkenylphenyl, or 10-24C alkyl or alkenyl; R<2> and R<3> are each C2H4 or C3H6; R<4> is C2H4, C3H6 or the formula II; n>=0; m>=0; n+m=1-10; X is alkali metal) is added to water of inorg. salt concn. of 0-20wt%. EFFECT:The produced microemulsion takes in a large amt. of oil and brine and has good dilution stability, so that it is possible to obtain a fluid for petroleum recovery of a high salt concn. exhibiting a high petroleum recovery rate and being suitable for application to an underground reservoir.
