<p>PURPOSE:To obtain labor-saving of treatment and to increase productivity of the treatment by setting a cradle roller, end detector, and band position detector, etc., on a walking beam and by cutting a band based on results of detecting a band position. CONSTITUTION:The walking beam 1 is installed which has coil skids 2a-2e and carries coils at pitch. The end detector 8 such as an optical sensor is set on the coil skid 2b and the cradle roller 3 is installed. Furthermore, the band position detector 4 which detects the position of a steel band 6 on the circumference of a coil is set on the skid 2d. The roller 3 rotates a coil by a signal from the detector 8 automatically and the coil is cut based on detecting results of the detector 4 automatically. Then, the coil is carried to reels 10 and 11 through a turn table 7. Therefore, labor-saving and increase of productivity of treatment are obtained by the above described automation.</p> |
