PURPOSE:To prevent the lateral vibration and oblique running of an ink ribbon, by arranging a brake pad between a supply reel and a rotary roller. CONSTITUTION:A wind-up side guide 8 guides the running of an ink ribbon 2 and a rotary roller 9 formed so as to have a protruded curvature at the center thereof is arranged between a supply reel 3a and a printing head 4 and a guide 13 is provided between the supply reel 3a and a brake pad 11 in order to prevent the effect of the change in the winding diameter of the supply reel 3a exerted on the brake pad 11. When the protruded part 1a provided to the wall surface of the case 1 contacted with the brake pad 11 or the supply reel 3a is inclined, the ink ribbon 2 is shifted laterally with respect to the running direction thereof but, because the center of the rotary roller 9 has the protruded curvature, centrifugal force due to the radius difference of the rotary roller 9 is generated and the ink ribbon 2 is sucked to the max. radius position of the rotary roller 9 and the lateral shift thereof can be prevented. |
