PURPOSE:To obtain a voltage signal with large S/N by amplifying a voltage change appearing at each signal line with a photoelectric converting signal by means of an amplifier means and outputting the result from an output terminal. CONSTITUTION:In applying a positive voltage to a terminal 31 of a vertical shift register VS, transistors (TRs) TRE111-E11n are turned on, a voltage at terminals 211-21n appears at signal lines 41-4n. In applying a positive voltage in order to terminals 51-5n of a horizontal shift register HS, TRs E21-E2n are turned on/off in order and a current flows from a constant voltage terminal 8 to the TRs E21-E2n via resistors D21-D2n. A potential at each connecting points 71-7n between each drain of the TRs E21-E2n and each gate of the TRs E31-E3n is lowered in proportion to the light amount of the light to photoelectric converting elements P11-P1n. Thus, the voltage signal amplified inversely by the TRE31 and D31 appears in the order of 1-n at an output terminal 6.
