Sheets for the dressing of walls, roofs, etc. are mounted at an early stage of building construction. Therefore, the jointing of the material must be so elastic that it can absorb the dimensional changes that arise due to uncontrollable climate changes before the building is completed. The joints must also be both strong and rigid in the completed building so that cracks and creases do not form in wallpaper or the like during normal seasonal moisture changes within the building. This invention provides a joint that fulfils the need of being very elastic in the beginning and later hardening. It can also be applied at any time and is heat insulating. The method is unique in that an elastomer-type glue is pressed into open joint crevices of a specific width in a specific manner and the glue has a low concrete content, whereby an elasticity-increasing cavity is formed as the glue dries. |
