PURPOSE:To obtain better finished surface and to increase dimensional accuracy by providing a minor looped field backup system combined with an extruding speed feedback system, comparing a detected output of each control value with a limit value and controlling the output. CONSTITUTION:A pressure setter 11, comparator 10, pressure-voltage converter 9, and limiter 12 in addition to a speed setter 8 are installed in a control circuit of a ram 1. A pressure feedback system consisting of the pressure setter 11 and others is set besides an extruding speed feedback system which is a major loop consisting of the speed setter 8, a comparator 7, controller 3, and hydraulic pump 2. The pressure-voltage converter 9 converts a pressure at the hydraulic pump 2 into a voltage value. The voltage value is compared with a voltage value V0 with respect to a set pressure of the pressure setter 11 and the pressure is controlled through the limiter 12. In this way, better finished surface is obtained and dimensional accuracy is increased by the integrated control of both speed and pressure.
