PURPOSE:To improve discharge property of a cell without changing its total height, by placing the bottom of a positive electrode ring with an L shape section between the positive electrode composite and the case, and regulating the contact area of the positive electrode composite and the bottom of the ring, in a specific ratio of the bottom area of the composite. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode ring 7 with an L shape section is arranged with its bottom placed between the positive composite 4 composed of mainly manganese dioxide, and a stainless case 1 which acts as a positive terminal, and the area of the portion of the positive electrode composite contacted with the bottom of the ring 7 is regulated 40-80% the bottom area of the composite 4. And, they are combined with a negative electrode active material 3 made of lithium attached to the sealing plate 2, a separator 5, and a gasket 6, to form a flat type organic electrolyte cell. Therefore, the contact of the case 1 and the positive electrode composite 4, and the distance between the positive and negative electrodes can be maintained excellent, and the discharge property of the cell can be improved without changing its total height. |
