发明名称 ELECTRON BEAM WELDING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the defective bead shape of over excess metal and the generation of a porosity and to obtain a good weld zone by arranging an electron gun respectively on the inner and outer faces of a cylinder and by performing a simultaneous welding with irradiating a beam on the place to be welded. CONSTITUTION:A welded metal 8a is formed by an electron gun 2a with starting a weld with the beam output that the penetration of about 60% of the plate thickness of the material 1 to be welded is obtainable. The electron beam 3b succeeding from the electron gun 2b is irradiated from the irradiation position of the preceding beam 3a to the position of the succeeding distance 9 by about the same output in the inner side of the material 1 to be welded. A welded metal 8b is thus formed. The place where the molten metal is solidified by the preceding electron beam can utilize most a preheat effect for the succeeding electron beam irradiating position. With the peripheral welding of the cylinder being performed from the inner and outer faces like this the generation of the defective bead shape of over excess metal due to the differential peripheral velocity of the inner and outer faces is eliminated, the generation of porosity is prevented and the good weld zone without defects is obtd.
