PURPOSE:To relax a shock load due to a change gear operation by allowing the output of an engine to be controlled so as to decrease or increase for the period of the time until a change over ratio becomes less or more than the second reference value since it has been less or more than the first reference value. CONSTITUTION:A change gear ratio (r) of an automatic transmission 101 is determined by a change gear ratio detecting means 102, then is transmitted to the first and the second discriminating means 105 and 106. The existence of a gear position change is detected by a gear position change detecting means 103 allowing the detected signal to be transferred to a gear change content discriminating means 104 and each of the discriminating means 105 and 106. In addition, a gear change content C at a time of the gear position change is determined by the gear change content discriminating means 104 allowing the discriminated signal to be transmitted to both discriminating means 105 and 106. The detected gear change ratio (r) is determined whether it is less than or more than the first and the second reference values which are set for each of change gear content C, by the first and the second discriminating means respectively. Accordingly, the output of an engine 100 is controlled so as to decrease or increase for a period of the time until the change gear ratio (r) becomes less or more than the second reference value since the ratio has been less or more than the first reference value. |
