<p>PURPOSE:To prevent rear-end collision, by giving a sudden on-and-off signal, flashing at the speed more than three times that of a normal speed, to the both sides stop lamps and the rear turn signal lamps, in a sudden braking occasion. CONSTITUTION:When the witch 1 is on in case of a sudden braking, the timing contact 4 of a timer 2 is closed, relays 5-11 are excited, and on is continued automatically through the contact 3 being on. Then, by the contact 13 on, the flasher relay 14, which has a flashing speed of 3-6 times that of a normal flasher, is on, and through AND circuits 13 and 14, and, NOT circuits 12 and 17, the left side and the right side stop lamps B and C, and the rear turning signal lamps A and D are flashed on and off alternatively, for a given time by the timer 2. Thus, by giving a striking impression to the following cars, rear-end collision is prevented.</p> |
