PURPOSE:To simplify the positioning of a work by detecting the mark of the work which is conveyed by a work table and is tentatively positioned in a horizontal direction by means of an upper sensor and positioning regularly the work to a reference pin in a vertical direction by means of a pressing pin with a spring and conveying the work to a working position. CONSTITUTION:The work W conveyed by conveying rollers 1a to the work table 3 is pressed to a control pin 5 as the tentative positioning pin 16 in the horizontal direction is driven by a motor. The sensor mark W1 of the work W is detected by the upper sensor 35 and the reference pin 34 in the vertical direction is positioned to press the work W to a push pin 34 by means of the pressing pin 27 with the spring by which the work is positioned. Such work W is griped by the chuck IVa of a feeder IV and is fed to a working press table IIIa where the work is subjected to pressing. The separate small-sized device is used for the positioning of the work W by which not only the work table is simplified but also the driving power thereof is decreased.
