PURPOSE:To provide a pet food effective to improve the appetite, decrease the disease incidence rate, beautify the coat of fur, and keep the healthy state, by impregnating soft charcoal powder with wood vinegar obtained by the dry distillation of bark, and adding the impregnated charcoal to a pet food at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Bark is dry-distilled at about 350 deg.C, and the tar component is removed from the distillate by extraction and purification to obtain a wood vinegar. The wood vinegar is impregnated in soft charcoal powder, and the powder is added to a pet food at a ratio of 0.5-5% to obtain the objective pet food. |
