PURPOSE:To detect the faults of an address bus, a data bus and an input/output device control part and to improve the reliability of an electronic computer system, by checking the bus line set between an electronic computer and an input/output device as well as the control signal given from the electronic computer. CONSTITUTION:When one of two electronic computers 1 and 2 has a fault, the other nondefect computer can relieve the defective computer. A switch control circuit 3' secures connections among the computers 1 and 2 and an input/output device 4 with alternative switching. The fault signals S1 and S2 for a power supply fault, HALT, etc. are applied to the circuit 3' together with a manual switch signal S3. Thus the circuit 3' is switched. Furthermore the circuit 3' contains the fault detecting circuits 5 and 6 for computers 1 and 2 respectively. Therefore it is possible to detect the faults of an address bus and a data bus led from those computers and a control part respectively. |
