PURPOSE:To improve the inspecting position accuracy of the vicinity of a seam part by detecting a position shift of an electric welded tube by a guide roller having a centering mechanism, and correcting the position shift by a slide mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When an electric welded tube 1 is set after a preset has been completed, a driving part 26 of a centering mechanism 25 operates, a pair of guide rollers 24 operate centripetally, and a block 21 slides on a slide shaft 22 until a center K1 of the tube 1 and a center K2 of a sector 12 coincide with each other. When an inspection of the vicinity of a seam part S of the tube 1 is started, in case when the seam part S is twisted, a seam sensor 19 detects the seam part S and sents a signal to a control device 20, drives a driving device 9, a frame 10 moves in the direction of an arrow D or D', a sensor head 3 comes to a prescribed position of the seam part S, and an inspection of the vicinity of the seam part S can be executed with a high accuracy. |
