LONG-DISTANT STRINGING METHOD OF OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

PURPOSE:To make possible the long-distant extension of an optical fiber cable at a high speed by connecting a cable let-off device to a cable for stringing control, at least one cable delivery device to the intermediate and a cable traction device to the terminal. CONSTITUTION:The cable 1 for stringing control which is fixed with rings to a cable body at the required intervals of moving snatch blocks 2 and is provided with connectors at both ends is connected by means of the rings to the moving snatch blocks 2. The end of the cable 1 is fixed to a pulling rope 10 inserted into the moving snatch blocks 2 and pulled, then the moving snatch blocks 2 are disposed in prescribed positions. The end is connected to the next end by means of the connector 5 when said end arrives at the next pole 6. The rope 10 is then passed into the next moving snatch block 2 and is pulled. The above-mentioned operation is executed over the entire region on the cable extension route. The cable let-off device 13 is disposed to the beginning end of the cable extension route, at least one cable delivery device 14 to the intermediate and the cable traction device 15 to the terminal part.
