PURPOSE:To form a liquid crystal antidazzle mirror device consisting of a concave mirror by polishing the surface of an upper electrode substrate of glass, plastic, etc. constituting an antidazzle mirror. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the upper electrode substrate constituting the antidazzle mirror is polished to the shape of a concave lens. More specifically, the concave lens-shaped upper glass substrate 1 formed with a transparent electrode 3 and a lower glass substrate 2 are grasped by a sealing material and a nematic liquid crystal 6 dissolved with a dichromatic dye is sealed therebetween. The concave mirror is formed of the concave-lens shaped upper glass substrate and the electrode 4 having a specular characteristic if the mirror device is constituted in the above-mentioned manner. The range of the reflection image shown by 8 is consequently projected when the user views the liquid crystal autidazzle mirror from the view point 7. |
