PURPOSE:To increase station devices at low cost even when the number of connection of a trunk is restricted by connecting terminal equipment to a trunk branching device on a trunk line through a sub-trunk branching device. CONSTITUTION:A data processing device 11 in the area A and a display (DS)12 in the area B are connected to a trunk branching device 18-1 through a station cable 20 as before. A composite station (WS1)16 in the area B is connected to the trunk branching device 18-1 through a station cable 20, and a composite station (WS2)17 in the area C is connected to a trunk branching device 18-3 through a station cable 20. By such connection, number of branch lines of the trunk branching device can be made small, and accordingly, the trunk branching device 18-2 provided in the area B can be omitted.
