SHARE SPACE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR STORAGE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the data processing efficiency by defining a space to be shared among plural tasks and delivering a share declaration. CONSTITUTION:The memory area of a main storage device 2 stores an inter- task share control table 2-1, task control tables 2-2a and 2-2b and tasks 2-3a, 2-3b-. Then a share space 2-6 is defined first by the task 2-3a and secured when the share space 2-6 is used to secure mutual share for tasks 2-3a and 3-3b. The task 3b share the same task space with the task 2-3a and is going to share the information with the task 2-3a by means of the space 2-6. Thus the reference of the information is possible for the task 2-3b. The share state of the space 2-6 is released when the information on the space 2-6 is unnecessary for either one of both tasks. Thus an independent proper space is available to these tasks.
