PURPOSE:To prevent the scouring, by a method wherein a fin arranged in a lateral row is located to an underwater structure. CONSTITUTION:A fine 4 is arranged in laterla row in the vicinity of the foundation part of an underwater structure 1, and plural fins 4' and 4'' are installed above the fin 4. This constitution causes a vortex train to be intermittently produced in a water flow around the underwater structure 1 by means of the fins 4, 4' amd 4'' to prevent the production of a downward flow, resulting in the possibility to prevent the occurrence of scouring phenomenon. |
