PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic of ignition and make a positive ignition by a method wherein fuel immersed material composed of the inner wall of an ignition plug and a neck part having its extremity end being narrowed toward the center of the hot temperature part of the red heating element is approached to the fuel immersed material. CONSTITUTION:When an igniter 9 is energized, a red heating element 10 is red heated and a part of it 10' is heated up to its maximum temperature. In turn, when a part of the combustion air is supplied from a primary air pipe 6 toward the igniter plug 8 or when liquid fuel is supplied from oil supplying pipe 7, the fuel is immersed into the fuel immersion material 11 and unified, and then supplied toward the red heating element 10' and to the extremity ends of the flame holding portions 12 and 12' as well as the neck portion 11'. The heat of maximum temperature at the red heat element 10 is transmitted to the neck part 11' of the fuel immersed material 11 or the small amount of fuel at the flame keeping portions 12 and 12', so that the fuel is gasified instantly and reached to the ignition temperature, resulting in making an easy and positive ignition and forming the ignited flame 13. |
