PURPOSE:To enable printing density to be kept at a constant level according to ambient temperature variations without the use of a power circuit by controlling heat printing time in accordance with preset annual classified data. CONSTITUTION:A clock circuit 15 which always operates connected to a battery 14 is provided on a drive circuit 2. Further, a setting switch 16 which sets a season and a readout circuit 17 which reads such a setting status are provided. MPU7 is so arranged that only a month may be read from the clock circuit 15. It checks a corresponding voltage application time (T1) from ROM5 as a reference and controls the voltage application time (T1) on the basis of data obtained through such a check. Next, the setting switch 16 controls the voltage application time (T1) in accordance with, for instance, the setting status of summer, winter, spring and fall. Consequently no power circuit is required and a thermal printing control device requiring only a small installation space is realized. |
