PURPOSE:To eliminate color mackling by forming an insulating layer on one side of a photoconductive layer, and a transparent conductive layer finely divided into plural kinds of color filters on its other side, and causing potential change on each filter to form a potential pattern image. CONSTITUTION:The insulating layer 3 is formed on one side of the photoconductive layer 1 and the conductive layer 2 on its other side to obtain a photosensitive body 4. The layer 2 is transparent and finely divided into a large number of color filters composed of R(red), G(green), and B(blue) to form a color filter layer a. To form a multicolor image, the photosensitive body 4 is electrostatically charged, and imagewise exposed to light, then, further imagewise exposed to light past each of R, G, and B filter to produce a charge potential pattern of each composed of red, green, and blue, and each pattern is developed with each color toner. Since each color filter is formed, color mackling can be eliminated and color balance can be improved. |
