PURPOSE:To eliminate the color deviation of a color image by providing corona dischargers with a transfer material carrying sheet in-between near the position where a transfer material is separated from the transfer material carrying sheet and destaticizing the charge of the transfer material carrying sheet. CONSTITUTION:Light from an original 24 is passed through a mirror system and is separated by a color separating filter 30, by which the electrostatic latent images separated to respective colors are formed on the image carrying body 21. Developing devices 38a-38d for various colors are provided around the body 21l and the latent images are developed by the toners of the respective colors. The transfer material 40 is fed to a transfer drum 42 and is gripped by a gripper 421. The transfer paper extended on the drum 42 is brought into contact with the toner image on the body 21 and the image is transferred onto the transfer paper. The images of the respective colors are transferred thereto to form the color image. The corona dischargers 423, 424 are provided on the inside of the transfer drum 421 on the transfer paper near the position where the transfer paper is separated from the transfer drum 42 to destaticize the drum 42. Since the transfer drum is destaticized by the corona dischargers, the full-color image having the good color balance without color deviation is obtd. |
