The invention relates to a device which allows the release of smoke without blow back and accelerates the draught thereof. It is composed of three parts, the first 1, a pipe fitted to the outlet of the chimney; the second 2 has a greater diameter; at the base of this second part there is situated a collar 8 as well as on the first part 9, held in place by strips 4 and 21 so as to form an ascending air manifold. The second part 2 has, at the top, a collar at an angle of 130 DEG 7 which, combined with the inverted cone 6 of the cap (which is the third part) to which it is securely fastened, prevents any blow back. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for chimneys situated on roofs. <IMAGE>
