The subject of the invention is a protective dressing of the adhesive dressing type comprising a recessed part 1 formed by a semi-rigid material such as polyethylene, polystyrene or polypropylene having a trapezoidal profile which allows extra height above the wound or other skin disorder and two quadrilateral parts which are flexible or elastic 2 and 2 bis coated with an adhesive product and provided with slots 3 and 3 bis into which the semi-rigid part 1 is inserted. The dressing will furthermore be able to comprise on its internal face a piece of gauze 3 filling the recess and intended to enter into contact with the epidermis or the wound. The dressing according to the invention is useful for protecting wounds or treating skin disorders. <IMAGE>
